അശ്ലീലം

വിളച്ചില്‍ ആയിരുന്നില്ല
വിതയ്ക്കല്‍ ആയിരുന്നു സ്വപ്നം...
വിതച്ചു വിളവെടുക്കുക്ക!

കളിക്കുകയായിരുന്നില്ല
കാര്യമായിട്ടായിരുന്നു വിത ..
വിതച്ചു വിളവെടുക്കുവാന്‍ !

ഒത്തിരി കണ്ടതാന്ന്  പറഞ്ഞ നിന്നെ
കാണിക്കുവാനയിരുന്നില്ല ......
സ്വയം കാഴ്ച്ചയാകുവാനായിരുന്നു
വിതച്ചു വിളയിച്ചു കാഴ്ചയാകുവാന്‍ !

നിശയുടെ മറവില്‍
വെറിപൂണ്ടെത്തുന്ന മലവെള്ളമായല്ല
പതഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്ന പാലരുവിയായി  
വരണ്ട നിലത്തെ കുളിരണിയിക്കാന്‍ ..

വിതയ്ക്കുവാന്‍ വിളവെടുക്കുവാന്‍ !
വിതച്ചു വിളവെടുത്തു പഠിപ്പിക്കുവാന്‍ !

അശ്ലീലമെന്നു ചൊല്ലി
ആട്ടിയോടിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു
സ്നേഹം അശ്ലീലമാണെന്ന്

Mahabali and the LORD’S tree

Wherever Keralites go there will be Onam celebrations. Onam is not just a celebration; it’s something more than a celebration. It’s neither a gathering of friends and relatives nor playing games nor swinging on a swing nor wearing traditional dresses nor having a delicious lunch with many varieties of curries and tasty Payasams nor the combination of all these. It’s something different. Every story and historical event has something to say, suggest and teach us. We must extract good from it and try to make it useful in our life. 

Onam reminds us the reign oh Emperor Mahabali. We all know the story of Mahabali. Let’s begin with discussing the meaning of the name Mahabali. Maha means great and Bali has two meanings. Bali means strong, i.e. having great strength or bold. Mahabali was bold.
